What do I receive?

For each detail: a PDF of the drawing and its matching specification as a plain text file you can paste into your notes or title block. Every order also includes the general construction notes.

Which code are the details based on?

The details and specifications are based on the International Residential Code (IRC) and the insulation requirements for IECC climate zones. Jurisdictions adopt different editions and amendments, so check each detail against your local code before you use it.

How do I know my climate zone?

Climate zones are set by county. Look up your county on the IECC climate zone map, then filter the details by zone.

When can I download my files?

Straight after payment. Your download page opens and we email you the link, so you can download your files again later.

Do the details include structural design?

No. Structural elements must be designed by a licensed structural engineer.
